Five years ago, our story quietly began—not with a grand moment, but with a simple need. I needed my roof repaired, and my cousin, already trusting his work, passed along his number. What started as business slowly became something more.

From the very beginning, he made it known that he was interested in me. But life had us on separate paths at the time, each of us committed elsewhere. So we let the moment pass… not knowing it was only being delayed, not denied.

Two years later, everything shifted.

He invited me to his birthday party—and what we now laugh about as “kind of our first date” became the night that changed everything. From that moment on, we didn’t look back. We started talking more, learning each other in a deeper way, and what we found was something rare.

We realized how much we truly aligned—our likes, our dislikes, our goals, and the values we live by. It felt easy. It felt right. It felt like home.

Then, a year ago, in a moment that was so perfectly us—simple, real, and without pretense—we were sitting at dinner when he looked at me and said, “I want you to be my wife", and just like that… I said, “Yes. I will be your wife.” No big production. No elaborate plan. Just love, clear and certain.
